The research activity has led to more than 240 scientific papers on both national and international journals as well as 7 patents. He has been Responsible and Co-Responsible for research contracts between Politecnico di Milano and, among others, Trenitalia, RFI, Italcertifer, Brembo, STMicroelectronics, Whirlpool, CIFA, ABB, LucchiniRS, Eni, GE, City Life, Ansaldo Breda, Expo 2015 S.p.A. He has also been Responsible and Co-Responsible for European, national and regional funded tenders.
