41 UCIMU AWARD
On Tuesday 12 December 2017, Villa Campari in Sesto San Giovanni was the place where the Award Ceremony for the 41st anniversary of UCIMU AWARDS took place. The Ceremony was chaired by Massimo Carboniero, President of SISTEMI PER PRODURRE, and Alfredo Mariotti, Managing Director of the association.
The prize-winning young engineers for the best graduate theses in the field of Machine tool Italian industry are six - five of them of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Politecnico di Milano: Giulia Repossini, Simona Cavalli, Daniela Andolfatto, Dario Loda, Matteo Saracchi and Federico Faccini.
Our colleagues of the Department Bianca Maria Colosimo, Marcello Urgo, Massimiliano Annoni and Paolo Albertelli received a merit plaque for their cooperation. A valuable support in the development of the three prize-winning theses was provided by ITIA-CNR, Consorzio Musp - Macchine Utensili e Sistemi di Produzione (i.e. Machine tools and production systems) and Tenova SpA - Pomini Division.
