AI for the Future of European Manufacturing

On June 26,the second session of the euroFMX kick-off meeting took place in the Aula Magna Carassa e Dadda at Politecnico di Milano. Coordinated by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, with Prof. Andrea Matta as Project Coordinator, euroFMX also involves the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering and the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering at Politecnico di Milano.

euroFMX is a major European initiative focused on Artificial Intelligence for manufacturing. It aims to build a European ecosystem for the development and adoption of advanced Generative AI and Agentic AI models capable of supporting and automating decision-making and operational processes across the manufacturing value chain.

The initiative brings together research excellence, industrial competitiveness and European technological sovereignty, with a focus on trustworthy, scalable and human-centred hashtag#AI solutions for the future of manufacturing.
It has been a key opportunity for dialogue among research, industry and institutions, contributing to the digital transformation and competitiveness of European manufacturing.
