On 30 June 2026, Dynamis PRC unveiled DP17, the new single-seater prototype that the racing team of the Department of Mechanical Engineering will bring to the next Formula Student competitions.
DP17 was developed to consolidate and further improve the results achieved in recent years, with a strong focus on efficiency and speed. Its main innovations include lighter and more efficient inverters, developed at the Department of Mechanical Engineering by former team leaders; a more compact gear train; and the introduction of DRS on the rear wing.
The prototype marks another step in the team’s growth, combining design, testing and multidisciplinary engineering skills in a highly competitive environment.
Dynamis PRC will compete in the upcoming Formula Student events in the Czech Republic, Austria and Germany. This opens a new chapter for the team, ready to take on some of the most important international student motorsport competitions.
