Dynamis PRC 2025: growth, achievements and innovation in international Formula Student

Four competitions, 150+ students, and top results established DP16 among the world’s leading teams

For Dynamis PRC, 2025 was a season of growth, resilience, and confirmation. With the DP16 prototype, the Team took on four international competitions, facing some of the world’s strongest Formula Student outfits. More than 150 students contributed to a campaign that delivered podium finishes, innovation awards, and the best-ever result in Germany—cementing Dynamis’ reputation among the global elite in electric and autonomous racing design.
The journey began in Switzerland, where DP16 cleared the notoriously strict technical inspections with ease and immediately showcased its potential. A second place in the Skidpad, a strong run in Acceleration, and a smartly managed Endurance secured third overall—an opening podium that validated the Team’s design choices and the car’s reliability from day one.
Just days later, Dynamis arrived at Spielberg’s legendary Red Bull Ring, one of the most prestigious stops on the calendar. Against a field of over forty electric cars, the Team made headlines with a historic win in the Cost & Manufacturing Event. Consistent on-track performances, including a fourth place in Endurance, led to another third-place overall finish—this time just shy of second, proving Dynamis could fight shoulder-to-shoulder with the best.
The campaign then moved to Most, in the Czech Republic, where more than fifty electric prototypes lined up. DP16 shone in Autocross with an outstanding second place, thanks to precise driving and sharp strategy. A steady Endurance run added a fourth-place finish and another overall top five. Recognition came not only on track: the “Garrett Powertrain Innovation Award” honored the Team’s pioneering work in powertrain development. Dynamis also expanded its horizons in the Driverless category, gathering valuable data despite technical setbacks, laying groundwork for future progress.
The season’s grand finale was at Hockenheim, Germany—the pinnacle of Formula Student competition. An electrical fault on the eve of Autocross threatened to derail the effort, but the Team’s determination carried the day. Repairs were completed in time, and DP16 delivered its strongest German performance ever: seventh in Endurance out of more than forty teams. The event concluded with a sixth place overall, second in the Cost Event, and—for the second year running—the coveted “FSG MathWorks Modeling and Simulation Award,” confirming Dynamis’ engineering excellence on an international stage.
Looking back, the numbers speak for themselves: over 750 points at every competition, two podiums in the opening rounds, multiple innovation awards, and a record-breaking performance in Germany. Beyond the results, though, lies a story of resilience, teamwork, and ambition. Supported by Politecnico di Milano, the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and key partner companies, over 150 students turned challenges into opportunities, raising the bar once again for what the Team can achieve.
The 2025 season will be remembered not only for its results, but for the spirit with which it was fought: a milestone year that propelled Dynamis PRC further into the ranks of Formula Student’s global leaders.
