Born in Turin on 11.15.1956. Graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic of Milan in 1981. From 16.2.1984 to 31.10.1992 he served as University Researcher at the Dept. of Structural Mechanics of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Pavia. Starting from 1.11.1992 he took up service at the Polytechnic of Milan, as Associate Professor of Applied Mechanics, belonging to the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering. He has held courses in Applied Mechanics for Machines, Applied Mechanics, Fundamentals of Applied Mechanics, Measurements for the Diagnostics and Reliability of Mechanical Systems, Vibration and Noise Control, Mechanics of Vibrations. Author of approximately 240 scientific papers published in international and national journals or presented at international and national conferences.
