Researcher
Daniele Busi obtained his Master’s Degree and PhD in Mechanical Engineering, both with honors, from the Politecnico di Milano in December 2019 and March 2025, respectively. Since June 2025, he has been a lecturer and researcher (RTDA) at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano. His teaching activities fall within the scope of Applied Mechanics. His research focuses on the modeling, design, and experimental validation of mechanical (passive) and mechatronic (active) systems operating in extreme environments and therefore subject to multi-physical loads and constraints, with particular interest in the field of magnetic confinement fusion reactors. In this context, he regularly collaborates with internationally recognized research institutes (CNR, ENEA, INFN), consortia (EUROfusion), universities (EPFL), and companies (Eni, DTT).
