Born 1969, classical studies, MSc in Mechanical Engineering and PhD in Applied Mechanics at the Politecnico di Milano, where he has worked since 1999, first as a researcher, then as professor.
Research activities include: vibroacoustics, acoustics of production and competition vehicles (GT and formula 1) and environmental; sound quality; structural vibrations and to the human body, annoyance of people from vibration and noise.
Design of instruments, sensors and networks for civil and industrial plant control and energy monitoring and for derivative and virtual sensing.
Chairman of UNI vibration committee, chairman of about ten standards in the vibration field.
More than one hundred publications in scientific journals or international scientific congress.
