Born in Monza on May 3rd, 1979, he graduated in Mechanical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano in 2004 and earned his PhD in Technology and Manufacturing Systems in 2008. Since 2011, he has been an assistant professor at Politecnico di Milano, becoming an associate professor in 2022. He is part of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, in the research line “Manufacturing and Production Systems.”
His research focuses on coordinate metrology, use of coordinate measuring systems, micrometrology, computed tomography for geometric and dimensional inspection, porosity identification, and geometric tolerances for additive manufacturing. He has authored around 50 international publications.
He teaches courses in Mechanical Engineering, Integrated Product Design, and Design & Engineering.
