Master of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano in 2011.From October 2011 to October 2014 he attended the courses of the PhD program in “Machine and Vehicle Design” at Politecnico di Milano.In 2012 he attended the advanced course on “Topology Optimization in Structural and Continuum Mechanics” at the International Centre of Mechanical Sciences (CISM) in Udine.In 2015 he got the Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano with the doctoral thesis entitled “Optimal Structural Design for Improving Safety of Road Vehicles“.From 2014 to 2017 he was employed as research fellow at Politecnico di Milano – Mechanical Department for the development of advanced methods for the design of aluminium wheels.From June 2017 he entered as young researcher at the Mechanical Department of Politecnico di Milano. The main research activity concerns the study and Multi-Objective optimization of complex systems, the study and application of structural optimization techniques (size, shape and topology optimization), with particular reference to ground vehicle systems and subsystems.Other research activities are focused on modelling and numerical simulation of mechanical systems and components.He performs experimental activities at the LaST (Laboratory for the Safety of Transportations) laboratory at Politecnico di Milano. He contributed to the development of innovative systems for the measure of forces and moments such as six-axis load cells and “Smart Wheels” for measuring contact forces at the tyre/road interface, with applications on road vehicles, motorcycles and industrial vehicles.He is co-author of more than 15 publications on international journals and national and international conferences.
