Associate Professor

Professor Roberto Palazzetti is a Mechanical Engineer who graduated from the University of Bologna, where he also earned his doctorate in 2023. After five years as a Research Assistant at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, UK, he transitioned to the private sector and worked as an R&D Engineer at Graf Industries S.p.A. in Nonantola, Modena, Italy.
Since 2020, he has been an Associate Professor at the Politecnico di Milano, where he teaches Machine Design and Machine Design 2 to Bachelor’s and Master’s students, respectively, at the Piacenza Campus.
His main research interests include composite materials, structural applications, geared transmissions, and electric vehicles.
He currently holds two PRIN projects and participated in several national and international funded project.
